Admiral Real Estate Services Corp. is pleased to announce that a Grab and Go will soon be opening at 1 Adams Street. This stand-alone Bedford Hills retail building is at the corner of Babbitt Road and Adams Street, in the heart of Bedford Hills’ central business district. Upon completion, 1 Adams Street will be an upscale food market and delicatessen, offering prepared take-out meals, deli sandwiches and salads and dry goods.
The building was vacant for some time after the current owner took the space back after a defaulted loan. Admiral found a number of tenants for the space. The property owner felt the Grab and Go concept would be best for the building and the town, given its location directly across from the Metro-North train station.
Once the lease terms were negotiated, Admiral worked with the owner, tenant and municipality to obtain entitlements. The Town of Bedford has approved the tenant’s proposed improvements, and the building is currently under extensive renovation.
